ATHELING AWARD WINNER
The Quest for Australian Fantasy was the first comprehensive history of Australian fantasy, and was written with Steve Paulsen and published in Aurealis in April 1994. An expanded version, Australian Twentieth Century Fantasy, was published in The Encyclopedia of Fantasy (edited by John Clute and John Grant) in 1997, and won the William Atheling Award in 1998.
